Biking

Home of the Ironman WI bike loop, Verona has a big love of biking. There are trails for families to professionals and everything in between! 

Test your skill at one of the area’s many bike races, including the Verona Criterium or the Horribly Hilly Hundreds or take on a triathlon as part of the WI Triterium or Ironman WI. 

You can also train with Rocket Bicycle Studio, stop for a coffee or brew with the local bike community at N+1 Cafe or “ride the loop” any time during spring, summer and fall. 

Mountain bikers can explore the trails at Badger Prairie County Park and the nearby Quarry Ridge Recreation Area.

If you have a family ride in mind, take the 6 mile ride from downtown Verona to The Riley Tavern for Sunday breakfast or challenge your crew with a 10 mile ride to the Memorial Union Terrace for some great lake views and ice cream.
