Verona is the proud home to the legendary Ironman Wisconsin bike loop. This scenic 40 mile, hilly route through rural Dane County is iconic for triathletes and bikers alike.
Ironman competitors ride the loop twice after a 2.4 mile open water swim and 16 mile bike out from downtown Madison. The final leg of the race takes athletes back down to the isthmus for a 26.2 mile run.
